I’ve learned throughout the years that every good story always begins with “Once upon a time.” Not at all surprising, Anna’s and Alex’s one makes no exception. In short, the story goes like this: Once upon a time, a man met a woman, they felt in love and decided to spend the rest of their lives together. Simple, right?! What’s different and engaging here you may ask? I would confidently say their different yet matching personalities, their love for life, beauty and simple moments. So here is where the Barcelona photographer finds his way into the story. Here is where I enter the story.

The Beginning – The Charming City of Barcelona
I met Anna and Alex in Barcelona, one of the most breathtaking places in Europe. A city full of history, incredible architecture and dynamism.
As always, I felt excited meeting them as I always feel when meeting new people and learning new stories, true stories. We started talking and broke the ice in seconds. I got to understand their passions, their story and filled myself with inspiration to create together imagines full of life that they will surely revisit for many years to come.
Dual Sessions – The Chapter That Writes Its Own Story
As a Barcelona Photographer, I do have a so-called soft spot for dual sessions where the couple and I try to recreate important moments in their lives, to tell a story and to leave the viewer with the desire to discover even more. The fascinating part about my dual sessions is that nothing is scripted, everything flows as natural as possible, and it is my honor to be there and capture the essence of the moment that is taking place before my lenses.
Inspired by Barcelona
As we are moving forward and visit places like Gaudi’s masterpiece Sagrada Familia, The Magic Fountain or The Gothic Quarter which is car-free and one of the best places for photoshoots, I understood better why two people from different parts of the world, namely Russia and Romania decided to create their story there. It is simply a new world that I could talk about for days and still not being able to get bored of it. Of course, I promised myself to revisit it as soon as possible.
Shortly after the photo session, we went in a friendly and cozy coffee shop where we discussed even more about wedding photography. Making clear connections and linking every piece of the puzzle together to make sure that their story will be told as faithfully as it deserves.
